The Messiah College Falcons will be once again hosting the Falcon Softball Clinic. Our clinic staff, which included instructors from various levels and areas of expertise, is excited to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the sport of fast pitch softball!!!
The clinic is for beginner and veteran softball athletes from grades 5-12. there is no specific level of experience required, just a desire to learn and improve in all aspects of the game! Instruction will be giving on hitting, bunting, throwing, position-specific fielding, pitching and catching. General offensive and defensive strategies will be addressed.

Amy Weaver
As Head Coach for Messiah College, Amy
brings with her a long line of experience and tradition with the college over the last twelve years. Coach Weaver attended Messiah,
playing for four years as a starter in Center Field. Graduating in 1991, she earned 1st Team MAC honors. She began coaching at Messiah as an assistant coach in 1993, and
took over as Head Coach in 1997. Amy has conducted pitching clinics throughout PA and MD. She is twice MAC coach of the year at earned the NCAA East Region Coach of the year honors in 1999.
Assistant Directors:
Paul Crist
Paul has been coaching teams for over 30 years. He most recently was coaching at Campell University, an NCAA Div. I school. Paul was the pitching coach at Campbell. Paul has moved back to his hometown, and
is currently Messiah College's Pitching Coach.
Jen Wenger
Jen attended Messiah College for four years. She stared at center field, earning NCAA All-American honors for two years. She has been an assistant coach for the past three season.
Christina Wessman
Attended Messiah for four years, Kristie started at 2nd base and SS. She led the team in stolen bases and captured NCAA 1st team All-Region honors and NCAA All-American honors. Christina joins the staff this year
Messiah College Athletes
Messiah athletes have a long tradition of excellence. Currently four team members are All-Conference Honorees and two team members are NCAA Regional All-Americans. The Falcons have finished 5th in the nation at the NCAA National Championships in 1998 and 1999.
