The Messiah College Falcons will be once again hosting the Falcon Pitching Clinic. Our clinic staff is excited to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the sport of fast pitch softball and fast pitch pitching! ! !
Our staff includes a former NCAA Division I college pitching coach and NCAA Division III All-Conference players. There will be a guest appearance by NCAA All American. Amy Weaver, the head coach for the Falcons will also be instructing some as well as current pitchers from the Messiah College Softball team.
The clinic is for all beginner and veteran
softball pitchers. There is no specific level of experience required, just a desire to learn and improve. We will be dividing into groups of beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Our goal is to teach you skills that will make you a better softball pitcher, hut also to
show you how to have fun doing it!

Amy Weaver
As Head Coach for Messiah College, Amy
brings with her a long line of experience and tradition with the college over the last twelve years. Coach Weaver attended Messiah,
playing for four years as a starter in Center Field. Graduating in 1991, she earned 1st Team MAC honors. She began coaching at Messiah as an assistant coach in 1993, and
took over as Head Coach in 1997. Amy has conducted pitching clinics throughout PA and MD. She is twice MAC coach of the year at earned the NCAA East Region Coach of the year honors in 1999.

Paul Crist
Paul has been coaching teams for over 30 years. He most recently was coaching at Campell University, an NCAA Div. I school. Paul was the pitching coach at Campbell. Paul has moved back to his hometown, and
is currently Messiah College's Pitching Coach.

Messiah College Athletes
The Messiah College Pitchers have a long tradition of excellence. Three pitchers have received All-American honors in the past decade with several more receiving All-Region honors. The Falcons finished 5th in the nation at the NCAA National Championships in 1998 and 1999. The current team hopes to return to the championships again
